Julian Calor

Signing his debut release to Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings and having since found supporters in Hardwell, Dannic, Dyro, Tiësto, Diplo, Martin Garrix, and Nicky Romero to name but a few, the exceptional talents of Julian Calor seem to be flourishing well beyond his years, with no signs of slowing down as 2016 is poised to be his biggest year so far. At just 22-years-old, Julian has already set the scene alight with his unique sense of melody and chord progressions that have continued to send his profile surging upwards.

After the release of his acclaimed 2015 artist album ‘Evolve’ Julian Calor signalled himself as a prime candidate for greatness following a string of excellent singles and collaborations, and a touring diary that has seen him play to some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world. Sets at Tomorrowland, Ministry of Sound, Ushuaia Ibiza, Creamfields, Sunburn festival and more, cemented Julian as a rising star in his own right, ensuring that the massive hype was entirely justified. 2015 also saw Julian perform a string of dates accross Asia as part of the Revealed Recordings presents tour, a tour that saw him hit up some of the biggest and best clubs on the continent, including Zouk Singapore and Octagon, South Korea.

After seeing in 2016 playing to Portugal’s MEO Arena, the biggest venue in the country, it was obvious that this would be his year. Making the successful transition from bedroom producer to stadium filler, Julian has demonstrated a hunger, drive and determination, as well as a keen ear for forward thinking music, that many twice his age struggle to achieve. This coming year will see Julian further experiment with his sound, taking it in new directions and into experimental territory with a wealth of new releases, collaborations and remixes.

His new EP 'Typhoon/Storm', which first aired in Hardwell's incendiary TomorrowWorld, set and became one of the highlights of the 2 hour show and claimed the #1 Buzzchart spot in its opening week. Plus it later received playlist support by dance music don Pete Tong on his legendary BBC Radio 1 show before breaking into the overall Beatport Top 10 chart. More support from Radio 1 came in the shape of his remix of Major Lazer's 'Watch Out For This' which received heavy rotation on the network.
